Testes Takers win 33-12 to take early series lead

Testes Takers lead series 1-0

SAN JOSE -- Week 4 of the BAD ASS Baseball season meant a fourth different field to play on. This week's field search ended at Lincoln High School. Much like Leland and Tito last season, this year's second series pitted two close friends against one another. Torance Matsui put together a new version of his Testes Takers (TTT) while Alvin Trinh simply named his team AAA. With a handful of new rookies added with a few other making their 2006 season debut, BAD ASS Baseball played its first full field game of the season.

Leland Yow led off the game and quickly took advantage of the open field. He sliced a ball into right field which Eddie DaRosa misplayed. Leland would parlay Eddie's miscue into an inside the park homer to give TTT the early lead which they would never relinquish. Yow would add a single, two doubles, and triple to his stat sheet and named BAD ASS of the game by captain Matsui.

Greg Lynas was a black hole in the infield and was awarded Gold Glove for his shut down defense for TTT.

With a heavy wind, no one expected to hit any homeruns. Except TTT's Ryan Ledee. Ryan crushed a homer into the wind that ended up across the street. Greg Minor retrieved the ball in someone's front yard. Ledee came close to hitting another homer late in the game, but it was caught at the wall by DaRosa. Eddie added extra dramatics by intentionally falling backwards into the fence.

A week after conceding his chase for .800, Cav Manning was 6 for 6.

Switch hitting Jason LaRose hit a left handed home run.

Trinh was named Small Penis of the game for the second week in a row.

Joe "Skillz" Davis was absent from this week's game, hence the brief recap. BABR
